Financial Planning and Reporting
Managing your financial planning and reporting is about more than just numbers
It’s about driving clarity, collaboration, and control across your business.
That’s why we specialise in developing Pigment planning models that make managing your financial planning and reporting processes clear, connected, and completely in your control.
Budget Planning & Forecasting
Budgeting, rolling forecasts and reforecasts run as a single process on one set of numbers. We build the model driver-first: headcount, volumes, rates and inflation are held as explicit assumptions, so a change to any one flows through every department, period and report.
Actuals are integrated with the planning models, giving you a regular, consistent view of forecast performance, with comprehensive variance analysis and AI-driven commentary. This gives you full visibility of the drivers of change in your business.
Driver-based build. Assumptions are visible, owned and versioned.
Rolling forecast. A horizon that rolls as periods elapse, not a fiscal-year reset.
Scenarios side by side. Compare assumption sets without copying the model.

Revenue Planning
We build revenue planning models around your business, drawing on established good design practice. Whether you earn on volume and price, recurring subscription revenue or pipeline conversion, the revenue forecast is fully integrated into the P&L, allowing you to model the impact of changes.
Driver-based revenue. Volume, price and mix by product, market or channel.
Recurring revenue. New, expansion and churn through to recognised revenue.
Gross to net. Discounts, rebates and promotions from list price to net.

P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet
A change to a P&L driver should show its effect on working capital and cash straight away. Fully integrated financial statements allow you to model the impact of changes across all your key metrics in real time.
Treasury needs a short direct view of receipts and payments; finance needs the indirect view from the plan. They are different models, and we deliver integrated reporting that meets the needs of every stakeholder, from treasury to the board.
Linked statements. P&L, balance sheet and cash flow move together.
Working capital drivers. Receivable, payable and inventory days drive the balances.
Liquidity and covenants. Runway and headroom beside the plan.

Financial Consolidation
Consolidation is fully integrated with your planning model, so actuals, budgets and forecasts roll up across entities, currencies and ownership on a shared structure. The model handles complex adjustments, including intercompany eliminations, FX translation and consolidation journals with a full audit trail, and supports dual reporting, so management and statutory views come from one data set.
Audit trail. Every consolidated figure traces back to entity data and journals.
Reporting basis. Switch between management and statutory views of the same data.
One model. Consolidation sits beside budgets and forecasts, not in a separate system.

Financial Close
Month-end close is a race against the calendar. Tasks sit in spreadsheets and email, ownership and dependencies are tracked by hand, and the status of the close is known only by asking. Reconciliations and accruals are prepared in separate workbooks, errors surface late, and the team’s time goes on assembling the numbers rather than reviewing them.
In Pigment, the close runs as one managed process. A close cockpit shows task status, owners and dependencies in real time; a provisions and accruals model replaces spreadsheet-based workings with a controlled, auditable calculation; and the management reporting pack follows from the same data.
Close cockpit. Tasks, owners, dependencies and sign-off in one view.
Provisions and accruals. A controlled, versioned model with an audit trail.
Management pack. Period reporting and commentary from the same numbers.
